Frequently Asked Questions

What is An epoxy floor?

While Epoxy has a broad spectrum of definitions, the term epoxy to us is a material installed primarily over a concrete base to form a protective layer of long-lasting strength and beautiful aesthetic. Our floors stand the test of time and the wear and tear of everyday usage, all while looking as good as the day they were installed.

How is an epoxy floor installed?

The installation process will vary greatly between one project to the next, however the most important part of any installation starts with the preparing of the substrate (or simply, the concrete). Once properly prepped, the material begins to be installed layer by layer; beginning with a prime coat to penetrate into the substrate, creating a staging area for the next coats to be built off of. After that, a body coat is put down to build millage and strength into the floor, giving rise to an environment that can withstand whatever is thrown it’s way. We then finish with a high performance top coat of the customers choosing, making sure every last detail is up to the customers standards.

How long will my floor installation process take?

Installation will always vary upon the size and scope of each project. The one thing that we value most, whether it be your home or your business, is to return you into full operation as quickly as possible. We specialize in the most demanding projects with the tightest timelines, while at the same time making sure absolutely no corners are cut in the process of building your personalized floor. Night shifts, holidays, rain, sleet, snow, or shine, your floor will be done the right way without causing a major shift in your workflow.
